Woke up this morning and couldn't feel my arm from the elbow down.
Freaked out, naturally.
Sat up, it just kinda flopped over and I couldn't move it.
So I ended up massaging it for a while (20-25 seconds) before I got a tingling in my palm that said I hadn't lost complete feeling in my right arm. (By the way, 20-25 seconds is a long time when you think that you have an arm that is half paralized...particuarily for an artist.)
Then, to make sure I could still do my thing, I drew this.
Turned out better than I thought it would've.
I am so thankful to not have my dominant hand paralized.
Used - Toothpicks & black, pink, purple, white, gold ink
Time - 3 hours (max)
P.S. - This is going to be a series, actually. Look out for some more of these!
Hahaha. that happens to me all the time. Actually even worse. I often wake up and cant move at all! Scares the living hell outa me. I usually sit there for about 30 seconds and then have to throw myself out of bed.
Anyways interesting use of different colors. It looks like ink. Looks cool!
lol you prolly just slept on it and it fell asleep. I've never been seriously concerned about any of my limbs falling asleep despite being a rather serious drummer/percussion player. I have to be concerned about all of my limbs...
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P

My arm did that too this morning. I didn't freak so much, but I started poking at it until I could move it! xD Great minds paralyze arms!
